  11.     My courier modem has had this happen twice.  It gives me a no carrier
  12. when I get home from work.  I had the modem on during the day to call
  13. my pc from work.  I think there was lightning around during the day.
  14. The first time it happened I had to ship it in to USR to get fixed.
  15. Looks like it happened again!  Question,  is USR going to fix this as
  16. warrenty?  Btw, what is the warrenty period on Couriers?

  19.     Does anyone have one of those surge protectors for their modem?  Do
  20. you get the same connect rates?  I tried one once and the phone line
  21. was filled with static.
